Back Roads of Oahu is an interactive and educational experience that takes you off the beaten path. Take a unique journey through time which blends culture, history and agriculture beginning with native Hawaiian living to Hawaii's plantation days of yesteryear through today's farming culture. See Hawaii's largest producing watercress farm; then, sample a Portuguese donut, the malasada, before heading to the northern side of Oahu. Next, visit Helemano Plantation with a walk through its garden filled with grapefruits, oranges and coffee beans; then, sample fresh cut pineapples during a pineapple cutting demonstration before heading to Sunset Beach, a favorite local hangout when traveling off the beaten path. At Kahuku Farms, an exclusive destination for Roberts Hawaii, you'll learn a bit of local farming history and taste apple bananas and Kahuku gold papayas grown right there on the farm. Here is where a catered lunch will be served featuring ingredients grown from the farm. Afterwards, you'll re- board the bus to reach Tropical Farms in Waikane where you can sample the wide variety of seasoned macadamia nuts prepared here daily. Terra Natura
Terra Natura is a new-generation wildlife park where you can discover the Zooimmersion experience a new concept in habitat design which will enable you to come into contact with the animals as if there were no barriers between you at least, no visible ones! The 320,000 square metres of the Benidorm park are divided into four themed areas: Pangea, the entrance to the park, America, Asia and Europe.
At Terra Natura Benidorm you can see more than 1,500 animals from 200 different species, 50 of which are in serious danger of extinction, and over 2,500 examples of more than 160 species of trees, shrubs and ground cover plants from these regions.
